David Howell & Company Gibson Girl Gold Earrings
In the 1890's, Charles Dana Gibson created a new feminine ideal: the Gibson Girl. She was tall and slender and wore her hair piled high on her head. She liked cycling, croquet, and tennis and was always dressed appropriately. These earrings were inspired by design elements from this period.
